To protect your pool from the elements and the cold during winter, it's important to winterize your pool. If your pool is equipped with a automatic slatted coverwe advise you to use a winterizing veil Ivernéa or an IvernéaPlus protective veil . This sail will protect your automatic slatted cover from UV rays and dirt during the winter or all year round. Compatible with Opaque PVC 84 slatssolar solar polycarbonate slats or Opaque PVC 69 slats*, winter covers are suitable for pools up to 10.00 x 20.00 m.
*Not compatible with solar PVC blades.
To best meet your needs, DEL offers two types of winterizing sails:
- The Ivernéa winter cover will protect your automatic slatted cover from UV rays and dirt during autumn and winter. It features a perimeter grid in harmony with the fabric's color to filter rainwater and retain leaves and dirt.
- The Ivernea Plus protective sail will allow you to protect your Slats all year long. It also has a white peripheral grid that allows to filter rainwater and retain dirt. The Ivernéa Plus protection sail can be used all year round thanks to its white color which reflects UV rays and thus limits the absorption of heat.
Winter sails are easy to install : Ivernéa and Ivernéa Plus can be attached in just a few minutes using Sandowclips which attach directly to the slats of your automatic slatted cover, so there's no need to drill holes in your coping to secure them.
